How to Make $100 a Day in 2024 (from anywhere in the world)

Reading Time: 35 minutes

I’ve been asked how to make $100 a day online many times over the years by members of my community.

I guess it’s because it’s a nice round number, something that’s easy to measure, and doesn’t sound too hard to achieve.

If you started generating 100 dollars a day, that would equate to roughly $3000 a month, or $36,000 a year.

For many that would be enough to give up a full time job, travel around the world, and design your life the way you want it.

At the very least, it would be enough to significantly improve anyone’s quality of life.

I could talk about online survey sites, signing up for apps that offer free cash, or making extra money via online shopping (and I have included one site that offers all this at the bottom of the list).

However, as my site is all about how to start a lifestyle business you can run from anywhere in the world, I’d rather give you methods that once employed you can start to either generate passive income or build true financial freedom and grow to way beyond $100 a day.

Me, fulfilling a bucket list item of visiting Bora Bora, courtesy of my lifestyle business.

Let’s start with my favourite.

Quick Takeaways:

  • Blogging as a Steady Income Source: Blogging can consistently generate $100 a day or more, with methods like advertising, affiliate marketing, and creating digital products, if strategically approached and consistently managed.
  • Affiliate Marketing Early On: Even with minimal traffic, starting with affiliate marketing can be lucrative, potentially earning significant commissions by promoting products relevant to your blog’s niche.
  • Creating Online Courses: Leveraging expertise to create and sell online courses can substantially boost income, with potential monthly earnings in the tens of thousands, even with limited website traffic.
  • Selling Digital and Physical Products: Blogs can also be a platform for selling digital products like eBooks and courses, or physical products with good profit margins, offering diverse income streams.
  • Sponsored Content and Upselling Services: For established blogs, sponsored posts can provide substantial income. Additionally, using the blog to promote and upsell existing services or products can significantly increase earnings.

How to make $100 a day blogging

$100 per day is an excellent target when starting a new blog.

Based on personal experience, it’s more than possible to hit that goal within a year, even within just a few months, depending on the method you choose.

Here’s how to make extra money blogging;

1. Advertising Revenue

Let’s start with the most straightforward … advertising.

This is one of the simplest ways to make money blogging, and little more than a numbers game.

More visitors = more revenue.

Simple!

Sign up for a service like Adsense, and install “ad placeholders” across your site.

Inside of these placeholders, ads will be displayed and you earn a small amount each time an ad is clicked.

Advertising revenue is based on RPM (Revenue per thousand visitors), meaning, for every thousand people on your blog, you earn a certain amount of money.

There are a lot of variables that affect this number. Including:

  • Which countries your visitors are from – For example, US audiences have much higher RPMs compared to Asian countries.
  • What sort of content you write about – Ads are partly dependent on what your blog’s content is on. If you write about insurance, for example, then your ads would have a higher value than those on a stamp collectors blog
  • How many ads are on your site – More ads usually mean more revenue (but not always).
  • Where these ads are placed – Strategic locations that maximise viewability lead to higher revenue.
  • How big these ads are – Ads come in all shapes and sizes but should be custom-suited to the space you are placing them in. Meaning, bigger is not always better.

Making extra money online through ad revenue has been around for a long time.

But nowadays, making money through advertising is 10 times easier (and more profitable) than it used to be.

Enter, premium ad networks.

These are companies whose sole purpose is to continually test and optimise ad placements on your site to increase advertising revenue.

It is hard to give any exact numbers, as RPMs can vary wildly from site to site. However, earnings through a site like Mediavine can be 10 times higher than if you were to solely manage all ads yourself through Adsense.

To get onto these premium ad services, you need to have a certain amount of traffic each month. Here are a few examples:

  • Ezoic – 10,000 sessions per month
  • Mediavine – 50,000 sessions per month
  • AdThrive – 100,000 pageviews per month
Screenshot of Mediavine Main Landing Page

mediavine.com

So, how many visitors do you need to make $100 per day from blogging?

Well, let’s assume a few different RPMs:

  • RPM = $3 – You would need 33,333 visitors per day
  • RPM = $5 – You would need 20,000 visitors per day
  • RPM = $10 – You would need 10,000 visitors per day
  • RPM = $15 – You would need 6,666 visitors per day
  • RPM = $25 – You would need 4,000 visitors per day

And yes, RPMs really do vary this much!

Key takeaway: Only implement ads on your site once you are getting at least 10,000 visitors to your site each month. You will earn so little with Adsense that it is not worth the effort. Instead, your focus should be on building traffic.

2. Affiliate Marketing

Compared to advertising, you should need fewer people on your site to get to $100 per day.

This is because affiliate products can be wildly more profitable than ads.

“Affiliate marketing is when you receive a commission for convincing your visitors to purchase somebody else’s product.”

You do this via affiliate links.

Somebody clicks an affiliate link on your site, if a purchase is then made, you receive a commission on the sale.

Here are a few key things to be aware of with affiliate marketing:

  • Commissions – This is the percentage you receive for a sale. These can range anywhere from 1% up to 90%. Some may be recurring commissions. Meaning, you receive a monthly payment if somebody signs up to a service and stays there. Others are one-off.
  • Cookie duration – When somebody clicks an affiliate link, cookies then track that user to see if they buy. Some cookies last for a few days, others could be 30 days or more.
  • Purchase price – It’s usually better to target mid-to-high priced products to promote. More on this below.

There are thousands of affiliate opportunities out there, which ones you opt for all depends on which niche your site is in.

But unlike advertising, I recommend you get started with affiliate marketing from the outset.

Even with small amounts of traffic, you can earn good money.

For example, say you promote a product worth $200 and receive a 15% commission each time. That’s $30 in your pocket for little more than linking through to somebody’s product.

To help get to your $100 per day target, it’s often good to target a range of affiliate opportunities, writing content designed to attract people with purchasing intent and then properly converting them into customers.

For a step-by-step tutorial on how to do this, check out my detailed guide on affiliate marketing.

Key takeaway: Get started with affiliate marketing early on, even if your blog receives just a few dozen visitors a day.

3. Create Online Courses

Another hugely profitable way to make money blogging $100 a day (and more) is by creating and selling an online course to your audience.

If you create a $200-$500 course, packed to the brim with expert guidance on a very specific topic you could stand to earn tens of thousands of dollars a month, even though you may only receive a few thousand visitors to your site.

Here’s the maths to help you get to your $100/day blogging target:

  • $20 course – sell 5 per day (150 per month)
  • $100 course – sell 1 per day (30 per month)
  • $200 course – sell 0.5 per day (15 per month)

The sales process for each will be similar, so it makes sense to price higher and work on selling 15 a month rather than 150.

Plus, it will require a lot less management, meaning you’ll make even extra money in profits.

As you’d imagine, building and promoting a course doesn’t happen overnight.

Use your blog to demonstrate your expertise and build your email list. Then create a sales funnel leading people to your course sales page.

For a better breakdown of this process, check out my guide on how to create a six-figure course.

Key takeaway: Focus on building your email list from the outset. That way, you have a list of people you can potentially sell your course to in a few months’ time.

4. Offer Other Digital Products

Courses aren’t the only way to make money online. Instead, there’s a whole host of other digital products that will work just as well, and be equally as profitable.

These include:

eBooks

Write and publish a PDF on a subject you can offer in-depth advice on.

Many people choose to publish an eBook through Amazon’s self-publishing service. Giving you access to a huge customer base immediately.

However, the only issue with this is that you will need to price your eBook quite low (less than $10) and pay Amazon fees every time a copy is sold.

As an alternative, you can sell your eBook exclusively through your site and have complete control over how much you charge.

You can promote it and sell it in much the same way as outlined above with a course, allowing you to build up the value much more and charge a premium price.

A good price is usually in the $20-$50 range.

Membership Site

Rather than a one-off payment, establishing a membership site is a fantastic way to build up recurring monthly revenue.

This will require more hands-on management than some other digital products but can be extremely lucrative.

Start with your online course and continue publishing premium membership-only content each month.

For example, some people offer a member-only site with access to new motion graphics or music downloads each month.

In terms of your $100/day target, it is easy to calculate how many paying members you need.

Say you charge $50 per month. This means you need only 60 members to hit your goal.

Other Digital Templates/Tools

Could you produce a one-off product that your target readers would find valuable enough to purchase?

It could be something as simple as a spreadsheet, or sample email templates, something relatively simple, but which adds value.

For example, say you run a blog offering digital marketing advice. You may sell a digital download for $20 which gives the person your 20 highest converting email marketing templates.

At a dollar each, this is extremely good value for the buyer. For you, it takes little effort to put together and then becomes an entirely passive source of income

Key takeaway: Digital products can be extremely profitable as they are relatively cheap to make.

5. Sell Physical Products

If digital products aren’t your thing, then you could use your blog as a way to sell physical goods instead.

There really is no end to the possibility here. On a simple level you could sell:

  • Custom printed t-shirts
  • Posters
  • Planners
  • Mugs

But you could also create a product that you think your market is crying out for.

This could be a new piece of cooking equipment, a fitness tool, a piece of artwork, or maybe a new eco-friendly rucksack for travel.

To make good extra money, focus on products which have a decent profit margin.

For more details check out my blog post “How to Start an Ecommerce Business (and sell stuff you love)”

Key takeaway: Until you have a team to support you, only sell a product if it takes minimal time to process and offers a healthy enough profit margin.

6. Sponsored Posts

Did you know that some brands will happily pay you in excess of $500 to publish a single post on your site?

Depending on your niche, and how much of an authority your site is, companies will pay hundreds of dollars in exchange for you simply hitting “publish” on a post that they have written for you or you have written in partnership with them.

And at just 6 posts a month, you’ve reached your goal of $100 per day.

The issue with this strategy, especially in the early days when you don’t have huge traffic levels or any kind of reputation, is that many sites offering this are spammy sites, often gambling associated.

However, this will become a strategy you can employ as your traffic and brand grow.

Just be sure to only work with partners you trust and endorse. Remember your readers trust you. It only takes recommending one terrible product or service for them to question your authenticity.

Key takeaway; when approached by brands for sponsored content, think very carefully before accepting.

7. Upsell Your Services

Rather than trying to learn a whole new set of skills you don’t have (like affiliate marketing or selling online courses) you could instead use your blog to accelerate your earnings elsewhere.

Say for example you are a financial advisor. You could use your blog as a means to find and convert new clients.

All you need to do is publish regular, insightful guides on specific issues within your industry.

Then, when target clients find your site, you offer a lead magnet in exchange for joining your weekly email list.

Over the next few days or weeks, you build a relationship before eventually convincing them to become a paying customer.

Here’s a straightforward example for someone offering financial advice:

  • You publish a guide on “5 top tips for beginner investors”.
  • You offer a free downloadable PDF on “5 more tips to help accelerate your investment portfolio”.
  • A reader finds this guide and decides to download your PDF in exchange for joining your mailing list.
  • You use an email autoresponder to send them one or two new emails each week for 3 weeks. Each of these emails contains practical and useful advice on how to earn more money investing.
  • After a few weeks, you offer them a free 1-hour coaching call.
  • They are already so familiar with you, and know you are the real deal, that it’s a no-brainer!

From there, you build a direct relationship and convince them to sign you on as their exclusive financial advisor and portfolio manager.

Done.

This is just a very basic run-through of the process, and it can be tailored to any niche and industry.

Key takeaway: Use your blog as a way to generate more sales for your existing coaching or services business.

8. Flipping Blogs

Did you know that you can sell a blog for roughly 40-60 times its net monthly income?

If your site is only making a measly $500 per month, you could sell it online for $25,000!

Depending on the niche, how you currently make money from it, as well as future growth potential, it could be worth much more than this.

Building and selling blogs is a huge industry. Many people build dozens of websites each year with the sole aim of selling them in 6 to 12 months’ time and making a huge profit.

There are a few major marketplaces out there, where you can see this exact process in action. Check out Flippa and Empire Flippers.

Each of these services charge a small fee in exchange for helping bring together buyers and sellers of blogs.

These sellers often specialise in building profitable blogs within a certain niche, that make extra money in a very clear way.

For example, say you were very good at promoting affiliate products.

You could build a small blog, receive just a few thousand visitors a month, and still make in excess of two or three thousand dollars by promoting very specific affiliate products.

If you have no desire to take the blog beyond this point, you could sell the site for $25- $35,000.

To hit your goal of $100 per day ($3000 per month), you only need to sell one such site each year. Seems achievable right!

Key takeaway: Building multiple blogs at a time, with an aim to sell them on, is a scalable and great way to make money online.

How to Make $100 a Day as an Influencer

There’s quite a lot of crossover between blogging and being an influencer, as many bloggers are influencers.

However in this section I’ll talk specifically how to make money online as an influencer, without needing a blog.

9. Become a YouTuber

There are a few ways to make money on YouTube.

Ad Revenue

Firstly, just like the advertising model for blogging, your goal could be to attract as many views as possible in order to generate advertising revenue from your YouTube videos.

On average a YouTuber might earn between $3 – $5 per 1000 video views.

To generate $100 a day, you’d need around 25,000 views a day.

Build an Email List

Secondly, you could use YouTube as a route to build your email list, to whom you sell affiliate products, your own courses, digital products, etc. Selling online courses is an excellent way to share your expertise and monetize your knowledge while providing value to your audience.

I personally recommend building an email list as the best route to long term, practically passive income.

Once you’ve built an audience of people who love your content, you add further value by creating or promoting products either digital or physical that your database wants and needs.

Affiliate Marketing

Thirdly, you could sell affiliate products directly on YouTube by showcasing products in your videos and adding your product affiliate link in the comment section below your video.

Every time someone watches your video and clicks through to purchase the offer, you make a commission.

Screenshot of a description on a Youtube video showing affiliates links to earn

Primal Video

Traffic Generator

Lastly, you could use YouTube as a traffic generator to send people back to your website, where you promote your goods or services.

10. Earn Money Publishing Videos to Facebook

Much like YouTube, Facebook offers a per view advertising revenue model.

You have to meet a fairly strict set of requirements to be eligible, including 600,000 minutes total viewed in the last 60 days, plus over 10,000 followers. But if you pass you can expect to generate $5 – $8 per 1000 views.

fb instream ads requirements

So to get to the magic number of $100 a day, you’d need around 13,000 views a day.

11. Sell Online Courses on a Marketplace

Perhaps the idea of creating and selling online video courses appeals to you, but you don’t really want to create your own website to make this happen.

This is where websites like Udemy & Skillshare, have an advantage.

They’ve already built the website, the recognition, the trust factor and the audience.

Simply record your video course, upload to one of these marketplaces and sell to both their audience and yours.

The downside is that you won’t be able to sell your course for as much as you can on your own site, but you may reach a wider audience.

There are a lot of variables when it comes to selling on course marketplaces. As such it’s impossible to predict with any accuracy what you could actually earn.

But let’s assume, taking into account Udemy’s constant promotions, your course sells for $10 and it’s mainly sold via affiliates. That would mean you only earn 25% of the sale.

$100/$2.50 = 40 sales a day.

12. Publish ebooks on Kindle

I talked about publishing ebooks on kindle in the blogging section, however, you don’t need a blog to become a successful Kindle author.

You can just as easily write and publish books directly onto Kindle Direct Publishing, and advertise your books on Amazon.

While there are many promotional strategies, the goal would be to get as many reviews as you can, in order to rank your book and make organic sales. Having a virtual assistant can streamline the promotional efforts, allowing you to focus on creating quality content and engaging with your readers.

Working on an average sale price of $4.99 and a commission rate of 75%, you’d earn $3.49 per book sale. Therefore you’d need to sell 29 books a day to generate $100.

That’s a pretty steep number with just one kindle book.

This is why most successful kindle ebook sellers publish many books across their niche in order to create series & cross link books which generate more sales from each e-book.

13. Become a Podcaster

I love this method, have started a podcast and if I had more time would most definitely pursue this business model more aggressively. Watch this space!

Podcasting is a fantastic way to build a reputation, an audience, and a business.

Much like video, podcasting gives you a platform to connect with your audience at a deeper level, however unlike video, you can do it in your PJ’s with messy hair and no make-up on!

How convenient.

These days it’s easier than ever to record and upload a podcast with apps such as anchor.fm.

This awesome free app allows you to record your podcast directly into your phone, click publish and within a few minutes you’ll be live across Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Overcast, Breaker, Castbox & lots more.

You can choose to record solo podcasts, interview other people within your niche or industry, or host a podcast with a friend and simply chew the fat.

Whichever method you choose to get to $100 a day you can either;

  • Grow your traffic to levels that allow you to create sponsored ads on your episodes.

If you can get an ad deal for $20 – $50 per 1000 downloads, you’d need around 2900 downloads a day, depending on the popularity of your podcast and where you place the ads.

  • Use your podcast to build your email list.

As with video, instead of depending just on ads, promote your email list on each episode and grow your audience and your email list!

  • Use your podcast to generate traffic to your own website or blog.

If you’re selling goods and services on your blog, then why not use your podcast as a traffic generator and direct people to your website.

14. Brand Collaborations

Becoming an influencer gives you a direct route to collaborating with brands who want to reach your audience.

Whether you grow your audience on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Spotify, Discord; you name it, pick a platform.

Where there’s an audience, there is a brand looking to get in front of them.

These days there are dedicated platforms who connect influencers with brands.

Also with the introduction of the Brand Collab Manager for Facebook & Instagram, it’s easier than ever for brands to approach influencers.

Depending on the size of your audience (please note you do not need to be Kim Kardashian), depends on how much you’ll be paid to collaborate with a brand.

It’s impossible to speculate on what you could earn as fees will vary wildly, but as an example, if you have a highly engaged audience, as a microbrand (10k – 100k followers) you could stand to make from $10 – $250 per 1000 followers.

This means, you could potentially make $100+ for one post!

Brand Collabs Manager – Meta

15. Become a Famous Author!

Who said you only need to publish ebooks on kindle?

If you’re going to the trouble of writing books perhaps you want to publish a physical book without the restrictions of a publishing house.

And that’s where Amazon KDP & IngramSpark come in. Both platforms will print your books on demand and distribute them globally!

The costs to self publish a physical book on Amazon vary depending on the size and format of the book (number of pages, black & white vs colour, etc), but here’s an example calculation from Amazon.

amazon royalty calc for printed books

At this price, you’d need to sell 65 books each day to generate $100/day.

If you’re building a huge audience on Instagram or TikTok, then why not!?

How to Make $100 a Day as a Freelancer

There are literally hundreds of ways to generate $100 a day as a freelancer.

Obviously, it depends on your skills and how you can help other people.

The best route to getting started as a freelancer is to market your skills on freelancing sites such as Upwork.com and fiverr.com.

We’d be here all day if I listed every single freelancing job there is, so here are some of the big ones to get your creative juices flowing.

16. Freelance Writer

Probably one of the most popular and therefore most competitive freelancing jobs is freelance writing.

That’s because anybody can put pen to paper, and when you start looking for freelance contracts you’ll find there are varying standards required, from people looking for a $5 an hour caption writer to a $1000 an hour copywriter.

What you’ll earn freelance writing is obviously dependent on your skill set, the niche that you’re writing in, how you pitch yourself and how you deliver on your contracts.

On average however you can expect to earn anywhere from $.4 a word up to $.15 a word.

Therefore to generate $100 a day you need to write around 1250 words a day, which is completely doable!

A great site to find freelance writing jobs is writersaccess.com. Dedicated to all things writing, it’s probably one of the best places to start.

Screenshot of writers access Main Landing Page

17. Graphic Designer

Perhaps you’re more of a Photoshop user than a writer. If so, you can generate a fantastic income as a graphic designer.

I’ve paid anywhere from $5 an hour to $35 a graphic over the years.

Again depending on your skill set and the kind of graphics you can create will determine the fees you can charge.

Simply look through the list of graphic designer jobs on fiverr.com to give you an idea of chargeable rates.

But let’s say on average you charge $20 an hour. To generate $100 a day you would need to do 5 hours.

18. Web Designer

These days it is easier than ever to become a web designer.

With easy WordPress page builders such as Elementor or the Kadence or Astra themes and plus full service website builders like Wix, if you’re creative and love tinkering with WordPress and websites perhaps this is the freelancing role for you.

Prices vary wildly in this niche and depending on the types of clients you pitch to depends on how much you can charge.

For example, online business owners who know their way around platforms like WordPress, but don’t have the time to tinker with their own site will expect to pay far less than a small off-line business with no website experience and might consider hiring a virtual assistant for such tasks.

Looking on Upwork, developers are charging anywhere from $15 – $200, with the average fee being around $30 – $50/hour.

Screenshot of Max S. profile a web developer on upwork

This means you’d need to work 2 – 4 hours a day to get to that magical $100!

19. Virtual Assistant

One of the most common freelancing roles is becoming a virtual assistant.

Once again your fees will depend on your skill set and what you can offer the clients.

From customer service to social media management to data entry to website management If you have a varied skill set the world is your oyster.

Expect to charge anywhere from $5 an hour to $50 an hour for your services.

20. Become a Social Media Manager

Talking about social media management, perhaps an ideal way for you to generate $100 a day is to manage someone’s Instagram or TikTok account for a few hours each night.

Imagine you charge $25 an hour for your services. That’s four hours a day chatting with other users and playing around with videos, images and cool little captions.

Sounds like a fun way to earn $100 a day to me.

21. Sell Your Services as a Marketing Guru

If you love content management, pay per click ads on Facebook or Pinterest or Instagram, or anything marketing related, then perhaps you want to market yourself as a marketing guru.

Much like all the other freelancing roles, your hourly rate depends on your experience, your skill set and what you can offer the client.

However, the faster you can generate tangible results for your clients, the quicker you can increase your rates.

Key takeaways; The best path to getting started as a freelancer is to assess your skill set and look at other freelancers in your industry offering similar services to see what they are charging.

Set yourself an hourly income goal, maybe charge slightly less in the beginning or do some jobs for friends or colleagues to get some early reviews and boost your profiles.

It won’t be long before you’re probably earning so much on the freelance sites that you’d be able to give up your full time job, and freelance full-time from anywhere in the world!

How to Make $100 a Day on Ecommerce

Notoriously e-commerce has always sounded like extremely hard work.

These days, however, with all the technological advancements, it’s easier than ever to get started and generate $100 a day or more selling physical products online.

Here are some of my favourite beginner ways to make money online with e-commerce.

22. Selling on Redbubble or Zazzle

Redbubble and Zazzle are print on demand marketplaces.

Print on demand is exactly what it says on the tin.

The market places offer products with blank canvases, for example, a plain white T-shirt.

You, as the seller, create a super funky design, upload it to the website, display it on the T-shirt, and when a customer purchases the shirt, the platform prints your design onto the T-shirt and sends it to the customer.

This means you don’t have to order any inventory upfront. You don’t have to outlay any extra cash to get started. And no products are printed or created until they are actually ordered.

What really makes this such a beautiful business model, is how it’s evolved from what used to be simply T-shirts to;

  • Shoes
  • Yoga pants
  • Caps
  • iPhone cases
  • Cushions
  • Mugs
  • Wall prints
  • Journals
  • Hoodies
  • Makeup bags
  • Shower curtains
  • and more

The market is huge and there are new print on demand companies popping up all the time offering new and innovative products.

The benefits of starting on Redbubble or Zazzle is that like Amazon, they are ready-made marketplaces that have already built the website, the sales funnel processes, the reputation, the trust, and the audience.

That’s not to say that you don’t need to also build your own audience, as competition is fierce due to the low barrier of entry.

However, if your designs are clever and unique, and you focus on seasons and trends there is no reason why you cannot build up enough products to start generating $100 a day on these platforms.

To get paid on Redbubble, just as with most print on demand products, you’ll add your desired markup to the cost of the products.

For example;

T-shirt base price – $15.00

+

Your markup – 30%

=

Retail price – $19.50

You make – $4.50

To make $100 a day you’ll need to sell 22 per day.

The way to ramp up sales on these sites is to offer plenty of products!

23. Selling Print On Demand Products on Social Media

The next step is to start selling your print on demand products on social media.

These days you can create a Facebook store linked with an Instagram store and start to sell your products directly on social media platforms.

You can do this using a multitude of print on demand applications (you don’t have to use Zazzle or Redbubble), and by building up your own brand and audience on your social media platform.

As with Redbubble & Zazzle you will need to cover the cost of the base products, therefore you may only be making $3-$5 per product.

If you use creative ways to build up a nice big audience on social media, however, 20 – 30 sales a day is completely doable!

Going one step further you can set up your own Shopify online store and sell print on demand products on your own branded website.

Shopify has teamed up with various print on demand platforms to make it super easy to link your online store to their range of products.

Much like Zazzle or Redbubble you simply add your designs to your selected products, choose your pricing structure, and display your products on your online store.

Even better Shopify links directly with Facebook and Instagram to also sell your products on the social media platforms.

In essence, you could have the best of all worlds by selling on your own online store, on social media platforms, and on the print on demand marketplaces such as Zazzle and Redbubble.

It may sound like a lot but setting up a Shopify store takes no longer than a couple of hours.

Linking it with your social media platforms is quick and easy.

And once you’ve created your range of designs adding those to the products takes no time at all.

Within a few days, you could be up and running, selling your own line of watches, jewellery, or clothing!

What are you waiting for?

25. Start Dropshipping

Another e-commerce model which is fairly quick & easy to get off the ground is dropshipping.

Dropshipping basically means that you advertise a product on your website or social media platform of choice, and when the customer places their order, it gets sent to the manufacturer, who then sends the product directly to the customer.

Your income comes from the price difference between what you charge the customer and what you’re charged by the manufacturer.

Once again the best route to get started with dropshipping is to create a Shopify store.

Connect an app called Oberlo, which directly links with marketplaces such as aliexpress.com.

You can then search for products within Oberlo, select the ones you want to promote on your website and Oberlo does all the heavy lifting for you by importing all the descriptions and the images for those products.

You will need to go in and polish your listing. For example, make sure the images look good and the description is well-written plus of course change the pricing to what you want to charge the customer.

Then as with print on demand, turn on the social media channels, market your products across the web and generate sales.

26. Sell on Etsy

Another great route to generate $100 a day in e-commerce is to start selling on the popular crafting website Etsy.

If you are a crafter and love to make your own jewellery, soaps, or homemade trinkets and gifts, Etsy is perfect for you.

Simply create your own Etsy storefront, list your products attractively, pay attention to your images, your headlines, and your descriptions, and utilise Etsy’s own advertising platform to start generating sales.

If you’re not particularly crafty but would still love to start selling on Etsy safely, you could look at the digital printable craze that’s currently gripping the online ecom world.

If like me, you’re a little bit nutty over stationary, this could be an easy side hustle for you.

Simply log in to canva.com and search for planners, diaries, journals, etc.

Using the templates for inspiration, create your own daily planners, menu planners, recipe planners, workout planners, family planners, etc, and upload them to your Etsy store.

As these are quite low-priced products you will need to sell stuff online to generate $100 a day.

However, the good news is, they are extremely popular and many of the best-sellers are selling hundreds a day.

There’s no reason why you can’t compete, so get started today.

27. Selling on Amazon FBA

Selling on Amazon FBA is quite a big undertaking, so only consider this if you have a little bit of money to invest and some time to make this happen.

FBA stands for ‘fulfilled by Amazon’.

This means you purchase your product inventory upfront from a product supplier, list and advertise your products on Amazon, send your inventory to the Amazon warehouses who then fulfil your orders for you.

You will need cash to purchase the inventory, cash to advertise the products on Amazon, and you will need extra cash to keep your inventory topped up once you start making sales.

However, as with all higher-risk ventures, the returns are far greater.

The good news is that there’s a huge demand for products on Amazon. Research shows that Amazon ships close to 1.6 million packages a day. (Market.us, 2020)

Get in on the action and read my blog post on How We Built a 7 Figure Amazon FBA Business in 12 Months for more details.

28. Retail Arbitrage

For a lower risk route to selling on Amazon, you could start with retail arbitrage.

In its most basic terms your goal is to find bargain products either online, at garage/car boot sales, shopping mall sales, etc, then list on Amazon at a higher price.

With this model you will need to fulfil your own orders, so be careful not to end up with a garage full of stuff!

However many people are making a decent living out of this strategy.

Read this article from the expert in the game, Junglescout, for more details on retail arbitrage.

How to Make $100 a Day as a Coach

Coaching, tutoring, teaching; call it what you will, is a great way to generate $100 a day or more and help other people achieve their goals.

Start your own coaching business from scratch, join an organisation, invest in a franchise or become a coach under a specific brand, there are a plethora of opportunities.

29. Become an Online Coach

Whether you want to become a life coach, a business coach, a relationship coach, a fitness coach, the route to building your online empire is the same.

Start by creating and publishing amazing content showcasing your skills, on a specific platform such as a WordPress blog or youtube channel.

Build your audience and your email list at the same time and create an irresistible coaching offer.

You can expect to charge anywhere from $100/hour to $1000/hour depending on your skill levels and the experience you bring to the table.

Even if you start at $100/hour. That’s one client a day for one hour to generate $100/day.

30. Create a Subscription Program/Monthly Membership

If you prefer the one to many model, consider starting a monthly subscription or membership program.

I talked about this briefly in the blogging section, but it’s a great model for a coaching business.

It takes a bit more work to set up as you’ll need a members area for your clients to access video training, coaching tips and a community, which is arguably the most important part of a membership program.

However, these days, technology has made this ever easier for us. In fact, you could keep it as simple as starting a private Facebook group, that requires a monthly fee to access.

I joined a group just like this last year for trading crypto and it cost me $15/month.

To generate $100 a day you’d need around 200 members all paying you $15/month.

31. Create an Online Mastermind

An online mastermind is like a monthly membership on steroids.

Instead of charging $15 to a large group of people, you’re instead charging upwards of $1000/month for a smaller group of targeted and selected people, who add a huge amount of value to the group and each other.

A successful mastermind relies on the collective experience of the group, so you’d need to employ a rigorous signup procedure to ensure people who can add the most value are joining.

To generate $100 a day, you’d only need 3 people, paying $1000/month each. Now doesn’t that sound easier than 200?

32. Become an Online Tutor

Do you have a specific skill that would lend itself to teaching online?

Perhaps you’re an ace at maths, a fabulous piano player or would love to teach English online to kids in developing countries.

Teaching English online and offline has exploded in recent years as more and more countries enter the global marketplace.

In an ideal world, you’ll need to get certified by a company such as TEFL, or join an English teaching program, looking specifically for English speakers to teach English online.

There are also companies that offer relocation to other countries as part of their teaching English online programs.

No matter what you’d love to teach, teaching online is a fantastic way to generate a lot more than $100 a day and something you can do in your spare time!

31. Organise an Annual Retreat or Boot Camp

So this is taking it to another level. But if you love to speak in public or enjoy teaching live workshops, you could organise an annual boot camp or retreat somewhere in the world, (which could be your hometown).

Just 10 people once a year for $3600 each, would equate to $100 a day.

Or 10 people, twice a year at $1800.

Or you could even do one a quarter and either charge $900 for 10 people ($900 x 10 x 4), or make it an even smaller affair at $1800 x 5 people x 4 times a year = $36,000 = $100 a day!

So many options!

NB: Depending on where you hold the retreat, there may be costs involved such as room hire, catering, speakers, events, etc. Make sure you take those costs under consideration when calculating how much money you can earn.

How to Make $100 a Day as a Developer

If you’re a bit handy with web code, applications, programming and such like (I think you’ll tell from the language I use, I am not!), you could easily generate $100 a day online as a virtual assistant or freelancer helping other people’s businesses with web development, etc.

However, you could make some serious money by developing your own app or SAAS product.

32. Build Your Own App

If you have an idea for an app that perhaps you haven’t been able to find on the app store or google play as of yet. Or, you can find apps but they just don’t do the full time job and you know exactly what’s required to meet people’s needs, why not just build your own!

Even if you’re not massively technically savvy, there are now platforms that allow you to create drag and drop apps in just a few hours!

drag and drop mobile app as you find ways how to make $100 a day

If you’re just starting out in the app arena, my recommendation would be to create a completely free app and then offer in-app purchases.

Just looking at my own apps, if I upgrade to say $2.99/month, you’d need around 1000 paid users to generate $100 a day.

That’s the point of apps though. If they add a lot of value and quickly take off, you have the potential to generate a lot more money than $100 a day!

33. Build a SAAS Product

SAAS stands for software as a service.

Just think Zoom, Dropbox, Gsuite. These are all Saas platforms.

Don’t let their size put you off though, there are thousands of smaller software applications created and used by individuals and businesses every day.

In fact, two of my best friends run a company selling a software program for self-employed plumbers, to make booking and invoicing jobs and basic admin easier for these guys and girls who prefer plumbing to paperwork!

What’s a challenge that needs solving in your experience? Perhaps you work in a company that could be made more efficient with a bespoke software platform. If your company needs it, do others?

Perhaps you can see a need online, like Pat Flynn from Smart Passive Income who launched Fusebox.fm for podcasters, or Wilco De Kreij who developed a suite of products to make Facebook advertising and generating leads on Facebook easier for the layman.

If you sell your software program at $99/month, you’ll need 30 users a month to generate $100 a day.

34. Create & Sell Web Design Templates

If you love to design websites, but don’t want the hassle of pitching your services as a freelancer or working with clients, a great way to make good money online is to design and sell bespoke web templates.

Many page builders these days such as Divi or Elementor allow you to import ready-made templates to customise to your own brand.

Expect to charge anywhere from $50 – $100 per theme or template.

How to Make $100 Days a Day Gaming

When my daughter was younger and spent hours on Minecraft, I was always fascinated as she would watch videos online to learn how to build bigger and better virtual worlds.

Who knew that those video creators were probably on their way to making thousands of dollars playing their favourite sport, gaming.

PewDiePie, a gamer on YouTube, has 111million followers and is the 4th most subscribed channel on YouTube.

If you love gaming and are looking for some creative ways to make good money, look no further! There are numerous opportunities for making money while doing what you enjoy.

35. Get Paid to Play

While not strictly generating you $100 a day in cash, apps such as Mistplay for Android give you the opportunity to redeem units, earned through playing, for free gift cards allowing you to make the most of your own schedule and spend them with Amazon, Visa and the google play store.

I don’t know about you, but my monthly Amazon bill is pretty hefty, so the chance to generate what is essentially free money by playing games to pay my Amazon bill sounds great to me! Making money playing games can be a fun and rewarding way to cover expenses and enjoy your gaming hobby even more.

36. Become a Professional Gamer

If you neglected your gaming efforts because your folks nagged you about staying so long in your room wasting your time, they may have robbed you of millions!

Esports is a billion-dollar industry!

If you’re at the level of professional gaming I think you can expect to earn a lot more money than $100 a day and have the flexibility to set your own schedule

37. Stream on Twitch

A bit like YouTube, Twitch.tv is a streaming service dedicated to gamers. Play games online, stream your gaming live, generate views and earn money per subscriber who visits your channel.

Generate extra money by qualifying for ads and even more money by signing up as an Amazon affiliate and promoting products.

If you’re a regular gamer and you play games online so this is probably one of the best ways to make money online and get to $100 a day fairly quickly.

Screenshot of twitch.tv page as one of the ways how to make $100 a day

38. Become a Game Coach

If you’re playing games on a daily basis and are particularly good at one or two popular video games, then one of the ways to make money from your gaming is by offering your services as a game coach.

First, build an audience on YouTube and then start promoting your coaching services. Expect to charge anywhere from $50 – $200 an hour.

What a great way to earn money in your spare time, doing something you love!

Other Ways to Make $100 a Day

39. Sell your photos on stock sites

Are you a closet photographer?

Do you love to take and edit beautiful photos of sunsets, landscapes, oceans or people?

Don’t leave all those photos just sitting in your apple photo library. Make some quick money and sell them to sites like istock or Shutterstock.

Simply sign up as a contributor, upload your images with descriptions and keywords and submit your stock photos for review.

On average a professional photographer can earn between $0.05 – $0.25 per photo per month. To get to $100 a day, that’s clearly a lot of stock photos, but if you’re anything like me you have tens of thousands of photos collecting dust, so get to it!

40. Add Your Photos to On Demand Products

If you’re a great photographer and have thousands of photos just laying around doing nothing, then in your free time, simply upload your images to sites like Fine Art America or Society 6.

These are print on demand companies with a focus on art!

You simply upload your photos and customers purchase wall prints, canvases and posters displaying your beautiful shots!

That said, also go back to the section on print on demand. This business model lends itself to artists or photographers.

I have become a little obsessed lately with creating short video reels for Instagram & TikTok. They’re so much fun! (I do spend way too much time watching videos online for inspiration, however!)

If you love making videos and have a particular eye for great-looking travel videos or product placements, why not sell your services as a videographer?

Many online business owners and small companies these days are looking for novel and modern ways to promote their goods and services.

So do them a favour while earning extra cash, and make their videos for them. It’s a great way to get paid doing something you love!

If you’re looking for a way to make some extra money fast, lots of banks or credit card companies offer promotions to new customers by way of giving a cash payout when you open a new bank account.

Aspiration, along with being eco-friendly offers a 10% cashback on all debit card payments. A great way to earn free money from your spending and add some extra cash to your bank account!

43. Make Money Online Watching Videos & Playing Games

Things that sound too good to be true usually are, but Inbox Dollars (only available in the US), seems to have a decent trust rating. (Please do your own due diligence).

There are several different ways to earn money on this site, including taking surveys, online shopping, watching videos online, printing and redeeming coupons and more.

If you want quick cash, you will need a Paypal account. However, you can also get paid via gift cards for Amazon or Starbucks.

There are a multitude of other survey sites and sites that offer quick extra cash to watch videos online or shop online and for just a few minutes of your day online you could start to generate some extra money.

However, the rewards are pretty low and you may be earning as little as $0.25 per ten minutes. To get to $100 a day, you’d need to be spending 66 hours a day on the platform!

NB: Rarely does free money or quick money come without a catch. Be careful with sites like these and be sure to read the fine print!

44. Make Extra Cash Taking Advantage of the Gig Economy

If you’re happy to exchange time for money, but want to make money working your own hours on your own schedule, then taking advantage of the gig economy might be for you.

Apps like Uber, Lyft and Doordash have taken the world by storm. Nowadays you can earn extra money for driving people around or get paid to deliver pizza.

Doordash is probably the simplest of these options allowing you to make money fast by delivering food. You can even sign up with just a bicycle!

Earn money and save the planet!

Even if you’re not going anywhere, if you have a spare room to rent out, you could make money by listing it.

Depending on your location and how often you’re willing to house holiday makers or business travellers, generating $36,000 a year and therefore $100/day is extremely possible.
