It’s Saturday and as you read this I’m on route to Avoriaz in France to meet up with friends and go skiing for the week!
I have to say, I’m in two minds about the whole thing.
I first went skiing two years ago and the biggest lesson I learned was not to start skiing in your 40’s!
You’re too full of fear!
I spent the first 2 days crying and then once I’d got the hang of it the last 2 days merrily skiing down the Nursery slopes feeling like a pro!
However some 2 years on, the fear has all returned and I’m nervous as hell of hurting myself, even though I’m much stronger & fitter than last time.
Anyway, keep your eyes out on FB & Instagram for pics & updates!
In the meantime I just had a lovely if not slightly chilly week in the UK visiting my Mum, Sister & family.
You know we travel all over the world and live in a beautiful hot country but there’s nothing like putting on a big jacket, a beanie and wondering around in the British countryside / seaside.
I couldn’t stay here for too long (bit too chilly for me), but oh my gosh is it nice to go shopping in the UK. So great to find clothes that fit & food that’s properly refridgerated!!! 🙂
I could shop til I drop!
Anyway, here’s a few pics of my trip.
Looking forward to sharing what I know will be truly beautiful snaps from the mountains of Avoriaz!
Have a fab weekend.
